Elliot is a free set of practice tools for piano and keyboard. Connect a MIDI keyboard, or play on your computer keys, and train chords, scales, ear, sight reading, timing and songs right in the browser. No account is needed and everything runs on your own computer.
Open Elliot MIDI keyboards work in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Safari has no MIDI input, but every tool can be played on the computer keys or on screen.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a MIDI keyboard?
No. Most tools can be played on the computer keys (A, W, S, E, D, F and so on) or on the keys shown on screen. A MIDI keyboard feels best and is the only way to measure how hard you press.
Does Elliot cost anything?
No, every tool is free and there are no ads. An account is optional and only used if you want to keep MIDI files in a library.
Is my playing or my files sent anywhere?
No. Sound, MIDI files and results are handled in your browser and stored locally. Only anonymous statistics about which tools are used are measured, never what you play or which files you open.
Which browsers work?
Chrome, Edge and Firefox can receive MIDI from a keyboard. Safari has no MIDI input, but the tools can be used with the computer keys or on screen.
