Does Fabbe cost anything and do I need an account?
No. The tools are free and work without an account. An account is optional and only needed if you want to sync your data between devices or share with others.
Is my playing or my files sent to a server?
No. Audio from the microphone and files you open are processed in the browser and never leave your device. Your settings and practice data are saved locally.
Can I install Fabbe as an app?
Yes. Fabbe can be installed from the browser and then opens as its own app. Tools that do not need the internet also work offline once the page has loaded.
Where should I start?
Start with Tuner to tune the guitar and Metronome or Speed trainer to practise a passage. To understand the fretboard, open Fretboard Explorer and Scale Explorer.
Which tools help me practise tremolo, gallop and tempo?
Tremolo trainer, Gallop trainer, Alternate picking trainer and String skipping trainer practise technique with tab and click. Speed trainer raises the tempo step by step, and Timing analyzer measures how evenly you play against the click.
Which guitar tunings and scales are supported?
Nine tunings, from E Standard to Drop B, including Drop D, Drop C and D Standard, and ten scales such as natural minor, harmonic minor and phrygian dominant. The tuner, the fretboard and the riff tools follow the chosen tuning.
