Saved

Saved collects what you liked in the generators. A favorite is the settings and the seed, not the notes themselves, so it takes almost no space and gives exactly the same result when you open it again.

How to use it

  1. Press Save as favorite in Solo Generator or Riff Generator when you hear something you like.
  2. Open this page and press Open. The tool starts with the same settings and the same seed.
  3. Remove what you no longer want. The whole list can be saved as a file.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my favorites stored?

Only in your browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to a server. They are included in the backup under My setup.

Why is the solo itself not stored?

Because the generators give the same result every time with the same settings and seed. Saving those is enough, and a favorite is only a few hundred bytes.

Can a favorite change when the site is updated?

The generator has a version number that is saved with the favorite. If the generator changes fundamentally, an old favorite may give a different solo. The saved settings are what count, not the notes.
