Version 1.2.0

Released

  • Solo Generator: randomizes a guitar solo of about a minute in the spirit of melodic death metal, with tab, backing, drums and playback with bends and vibrato. Four styles, five difficulty levels and a seed.
  • Saved: save what you like with one tap in Solo Generator and Riff Generator and reopen it with the same settings and seed.
  • Amp Simulator has an instrument panel with spectrum, EQ curve, level bars with clip indicator, limiter reduction and oscilloscope, plus lower latency with its own audio context.
  • Pages use the width of a desktop screen: settings and results sit side by side, and longer information texts are folded or placed in a column of their own.

Released

  • Riff Hero: a rhythm game with falling notes, six charts, score, combo, Brutality energy and star ratings. Keyboard, touch and an experimental microphone mode.
  • Achievements: 23 badges, weekly goals, streaks and a Brutality level from 1 to 66, calculated from your practice log and personal bests. Everything stays local.
  • The metronome now has a dashboard with a ball or pendulum, step sequencer, timeline, spectrum, level meters and full screen, plus the Death metal drum kit and seven new grooves.
  • The tuner has been rebuilt: needle, strobe, pitch graph and spectrum, intonation check, over 30 tunings for 4 to 8 strings, custom tunings, reference frequency and temperament, and a full screen dashboard mode.
  • The tab player links to sources with open licenses where you can download files.
  • Flags on the start page show what is new or updated.
  • More answers to common questions and better search results for the tools.

  • Tuner with nine metal tunings, custom tuning and a microphone that is only processed locally.
  • Metronome with click or drums, ten grooves and count-in. Speed trainer with a timed mode and a clean-repetitions mode.
  • Tab player for Guitar Pro files with loop, tempo, mute and solo. The file is never uploaded.
  • Train: tremolo, alternate picking, gallop, string skipping and timing analysis via the microphone.
