This guide shows how to search which companies are registered at a specific address, how to interpret the results and what to verify further.

Open the "Companies at the same address" tool

Go to the tool via the link below. The page has a search field for street address, city or postal code.

Enter the address and search

You can search by street address (e.g. "Storgatan 1"), city name (e.g. "Stockholm") or postal code. Partial matches work: "Stora" matches all addresses containing "Stora".

Read the results

Results are grouped by exact address. Each group shows the number of companies, company names, company types, registration year and status (active/inactive). Click a company to open it in the company search.

Export as CSV

Click "Export CSV" to download the results. The file contains organisation number, name, status, company type, registration year, address, city and postal code. The filename includes search term and date.

Data is retrieved from the official Swedish Companies Registration Office register. A shared address does not prove ownership, control or wrongdoing. Accountants, law firms, coworking spaces and P.O. boxes are common explanations. Always verify critical facts directly in the Bolagsverket register.

Does the search show inactive companies?

The search shows active companies by default. Inactive companies are shown with a clear marker in results and are included in the CSV export.
